An exciting opportunity has arisen with a regional law firm looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded team in the West Midlands.

With a focus on development and regeneration work the property team have identified the need for an ambitious senior associate looking for career progression to join their team. The team are busy and have had an influx of property work forming a platform for the successful Commercial Property Solicitor to grow the firm's local government offering. There is genuine scope for Partnership for the right candidate.

About the role:

The successful Commercial Property solicitor will benefit from a strong, existing client base and a team of 2 solicitors to assist with the work from the outset.

You will:

* Draft and negotiate, leases and contracts.
* Advise on joint ventures.
* Take the lead in the delivery of projects.
* Provide commercial solutions to local government clients.
* Manage and develop the team.

About you:

The successful Commercial Property Solicitor will have:

• A minimum of 7 years PQE, ideally on the development side.
• An interest in the client side as this role is instrumental to the firm's growth plans.
• Exposure to the public sector and ideally worked for local government clients.
• Good communication skills in order to navigate the political dimension of working with local government.
