Senior Childcare Lawyer

Senior Childcare Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period.

This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a senior Childcare role within a popular London Borough. There is a lovely environment at this local authority, with very supportive and friendly colleagues. They also offer flexible working, with the possibility of working from home 1 day a week.

This will be a dual role- Partly involving managerial responsibilities, as well managing a live caseload of child care matters.

You will be managing up to 2 childcare lawyers and 2 paralegals, as well as deputising for the Head of Family Law as and when required, allowing you to further your experience. Alongside this, you will manage approximately 3-4 complex child care cases, which is easily manageable alongside the other tasks.

The ideal candidate will come from a public sector background, although this is not essential as long as strong experience of handling public Childcare cases is held. Previous managerial experience is essential for this role, as is possessing a strong technical ability.

The office is located within a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest station, making it easily accessible via the underground and overground.
