THE FIRM:
Our client is an established UK regional law firm with a wide range of clients from start ups to international companies and entrepreneurial businesses.
THE ROLE:
A new role has arisen for a commercial and technology lawyer to join a successful team in their Thames Valley office.
The team advises clients on data licensing, data security, data privacy and data protection.
The work will involve handling commercial contracts to include drafting, analysing to negotiating commercial agreements, including IP licensing.
The majority of work is in business-to-business transactions but can often include advising on the regulation of business-to-consumer trading.
THE CANDIDATE:
To be considered for this role you will be a commercial and technology lawyer with 2-5PQE, have strong academics and a 2:1 degree or above.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in advising on contractual risk and negotiating contracts with the aim of achieving commercial solutions for clients.
You will have sound knowledge of data protection and security and have a strong interest in digital media, data and IT contracts..
