They offer full commercial legal services and currently seek to hire an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their CDR team.
As this position is a replacement (owing to relocation) - there will be a ready caseload for the new hire to take on and run with. It provides a varied mix and the team regularly deals with all of the following:
- Debt Collection & Contractual Disputes
- Professional Negligence
- Injunctions
- Partnership & Shareholders' Disputes
- Product Liability
- Road Haulage
- Liquor Licensing
- Gaming & Entertainment Licensing
- Contested Probate
- Bankruptcy & Winding Up Petitions
- Liquidation, Receivership & Administration
- Property Related Litigation
- Advice to Insolvency Practitioners
- Company & Individual Voluntary Arrangements
- Construction Disputes
This position will also take on the majority of the Property Litigation matters that the firm is instructed on, therefore it is essential that the new Commercial Litigation solicitor is experienced in this area of law.
The Commercial Litigation Solicitor:
It would be helpful if those applying for this position had the following:
- UK qualified solicitor
- 4 Years PQE minimum - as a guide only
- Solid commercial litigation experience, but must also have experience and good working knowledge of property litigation
- Managing own caseload effectively
- Able to work to tight deadlines, and under pressure
- Proven successful track record
- Those who conduct their own advocacy will be of interest
- Commercially minded
- Adaptable
- Team player - but also ability to work autonomously
