Derivatives / Structured Products / Structured Finance Lawyer

Our client, a mid-sized investment bank, is seeking a Derivatives or Structured Finance Lawyer to join their structured derivatives legal team. This role will give you the opportunity to work on a wide breadth of interesting and complex structured derivatives transactions across the EMEA region

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Providing legal advice on all phases of structured derivatives transactions.
• Working alongside the business to structure a variety of transactions across a number of asset classes inc. commodities, FX, swaps etc
• Drafting, review and negotiating legal documentation including templates of confirmations, ISDA master agreements, security docs and platform documentation
• Work alongside the business to provide legal advice on the development of new products
• Advising on current and upcoming regulations (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR etc.) to ensure the business is fully compliant

The successful candidate;

• 2 years+ PQE* in Derivatives/Structured Finance Lawyer with experience gained either in private practice or in-house
• Sound understanding of derivatives or structured products transactions

*Candidates outside of this bracket will be considered if they are able to demonstrate the prerequisite experience required.
