Bid/Business Development Manager position for a leading international law firm.  To be aligned to the corporate department, this role will be responsible for the coordination of global bids, as well as some wider business development/marketing initiatives.  Responsibilities will include:

  • Working directly with fee earners and the wider BD team to write engaging tenders and pitches for the Corporate department.
  • Developing compelling key messaging and value propositions within bids and proposals.
  • Creating client meeting packs including extensive research and analysis.
  • Coaching fee earners on pitch presentation and delivery.
  • Promoting best practice behaviours on the bid process including briefing calls, preparation meetings and pitch rehearsals.
  • Maintaining a central repository of up to date credentials, CVs, practice group awards and accolades for inclusion in pitch documents.
  • Work on BD projects across the department including directory submissions, deal collation and client development.

The successful candidate will have gained excellent bid management experience and be able to run bids from start to end.  You will demonstrate high levels of attention to detail and the ability to communicate at all levels.  You will ideally have experience of working in a law firm or a major accountancy firm.
