Data Privacy Lawyer

Contract Data Privacy Lawyer job working in Central London for a Big 4 consultancy.

My client is a 'Big 4' professional services company that is looking to engage a Data Privacy Lawyer on a contract basis.

Your new role
Based in their Central London offices, this role will be supporting the Central Privacy Team in reviewing all commercial contracts, advising on data processing clauses and assessing the potential impact of GDPR. There will also be some project support work looking at Privacy Impact Assessments of ongoing projects and assuring any potential risks are managed.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally be UK qualified with demonstrable experience of working within a similar environment. You will need to have a strong commercial contract background and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will need a good level of understanding of UK and EU Data Protection Regulation legislation with a particular focus on GDPR. We are seeking a problem solver who is flexible and adapts quickly to a changing environment. You will be confident in communicating with the wider business and managing a diverse work portfolio.
