Commercial Property Lawyer

If you are an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer who has (ideally) worked within the Telecoms industry then we would love to hear from you. This is a contract role (minimum of 6 months) offering an excellent day rate and the chance to work for a leading telecoms organisation.

The Property Lawyers in the Legal Team are responsible for supporting the estate management and implementation of property and planning strategies across the shared and unilateral networks. The Digital Economy Act 2017 incorporated a significantly revised ECC and this revised ECC will result in substantial changes to business practices and processes.

The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the site upgrade activities, lease renewals and NTQ replacements are delivered to shareholder requirements under the terms of the revised ECC. The role will focus upon the effective implementation of revised ECC processes, ongoing improvements and manage external solicitors and negotiating agents.

Key responsibilities will include: Legal advice; training; embedding change; support; continuous improvement and cross functioning working.

You will be a 5-10 year PQE Solicitor and have extensive knowledge of property law including Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 and be able to demonstrate experience in Business Process and Transformation Change. Knowledge of the Code is desirable as is having worked in an In-house environment, along with experience of business change as a result of new legislation. Telecoms experience an advantage.
