This inspiring organisation based in Greater Manchester is looking to recruit a Compliance Officer to manage the corporate governance, compliance and risk for a charitable foundation.
Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will be responsible for corporate governance work including board support, introducing policies and procedures as well as training and ensuring governance best practice. You will also be involved in legal support, risk projects and will be engaging with senior stakeholders at leadership and executive level.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a compliance and/or corporate governance background; ideally part-qualified ICSA or ICA. You will need to be a quick learner with excellent written and verbal and communication skills with a natural flair for building meaningful relationships when engaging with the business. Experience in the charities sector and regulations under the Charities Act would be advantageous but compliance and corporate governance professionals with an industry or professional services background will also be considered.
