Legal Counsel, Financial Services

THE CLIENT

We are seeking a Corporate Commercial Lawyer to join our client an inter-dealer broker in London.

ROLE:

This In House Counsel / Lawyer role will be dynamic, challenging and include a variety of work such as:

• Assisting the core departments of the firm with the review, drafting and amending of general legal contracts including ad-hoc agreements, engagement letters, NDAs etc
• Provide support in the following areas of law: Corporate M&A, Commercial, Financial Regulatory and IP/IT.
• Support internal marketing team with affiliate agreements, agency and licencing agreements.
• Providing general legal (and regulatory) support to the business on various and upcoming financial services regulations
• Liaise with other lawyers in the different jurisdictions the business operates in

CANDIDATE

• The desired candidate will have 2* years+ PQE gained within a Corporate or Commercial practice or the equivalent within a Financial Services organisation or law firm.
• Experience in Corporate (M&A) and/or Commercial (negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts) is ideal for this role
• Financial Regulatory and IP/IT is desirable but not essential.
