BANKING SOLICITOR – MANCHESTER (IN-HOUSE)

  • Reports to: Head of Commercial Banking
  • Previous Experience: The client is willing to consider those with an in-house background as well as those looking to make the move in-house from private practice. You should possess good drafting skills, such as being able to draft all aspects of loan agreements, facility letters and other ancillary banking documentation. Please note: PQE level is only given by way of indication – those with more than 5 PQE are also encouraged to apply.

THE IN-HOUSE BANKING TEAM

You will be joining the in-house Manchester team of a major bank, based in the city centre. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a broad range of experience gained either in-house or in private practice. The in-house team works with various other areas within commercial banking and general corporate banking so applicants should be able to draw on quite a broad range of experience.

The team itself is undergoing a sustained period of expansion in the Manchester office so expect to be part of a growing, dynamic department, which works with the other offices across the country. The range of work is very broad and focuses mainly on the more lucrative SME market from relatively straightforward banking transactions to larger, more complex transactions.
