Compliance and Risk Management Officer

We have been instructed by a global real estate investment company to recruit a Compliance and Risk Management Officer to be based in their Paris office. You will have 2-5 years of PQE experience and You will be in charge of developing and updating both compliance and management systems.

In particular, You will be involved in:

• Developing and updating compliance systems and create and updating the internal policies and processes.
• Preparing compliance reports for the Audit Committee.
• Submitting returns to the AMF and organising the AIFMD reporting and the AMF reporting's.
• Assisting with assessing the impact of new AMF rules and EU Directives.
• Providing advice to colleagues from investment management and asset management.
• Developing and updating existing risk management systems.
• Supporting new business and real estate transactions by reviewing and approving anti-money laundering KYC due diligence.

Detailed Description:

Reporting to the Head of Legal currently based in Luxembourg and sitting in the wider European Legal and Compliance team based in London, You will have 2-5 years of PQE experience in the similar function gained while working in international company.

You will be a flexible, confident self-start and proactive person with a positive attitudes. Especially, You will be required to be persuasive and diplomatic with the confidence to push back as needed and also able to identify prioritise and work efficiently and independently. Additionally, You will be required to travel periodically to other company' offices in Europe.

Moreover, the role requires the following qualifications and experiences:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Compliance matters and investment management industry, preferably real estate.
• Good knowledge and understanding of AMF AIFMD and MiFID investment management rules

• Fluency in both written and spoken French and English.
