Senior Legal Counsel

LAW Absolute is currently working with a technology company who use cutting edge technology for its customers. Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel with a minimum of 4 years PQE to join the legal team based at Reading. Offices are located close to transport and a wide range of shops and cafes.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Provide support to the UK business in the following areas; technology, digital services, outsourcing, commercial law, intellectual property and data protection
• Proactively develop a strategic plan of action to ensure the business meets all objectives, whilst pragmatically advising on complex business problems
• Fully understand the business processes and objectives in order to maintain internal business relationships
• Closely support external legal counsel to ensure the right cost effective information is provided

You will have a high attention to detail, a proactive approach and a great commercial awareness. You will be adaptable when developing business relationships with internal and external stakeholders. It is essential that you have an excellent understanding of contracts and agreements pertaining to technology and/or digital services plus a great sense of commercial law in general particularly when negotiating terms of contracts.
