In-House Lawyer job with financial services company in Bristol, employer of choice

Your new firm
This Global financial services provider is looking for an In-House Lawyer to join their Legal team based in Bristol to provide effective support to their UK business.

Your new role
You will be assisting the Head of Legal, as well as assisting the wider business with a varied range of projects and tasks that require both legal support and review. From contract drafting and negotiation across a full spectrum of suppliers and partners, through to drafting retail terms of business and client agreements, providing day to day advice to the businesses and supporting a wide range of commercial and corporate projects, your role will give you a great opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a modern financial services organisation. A key part of the role will be responsibility for data protection compliance, including GDPR.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar position, either in house or private practice, and will have experience within the Financial Services industry, ideally with recent GDPR and data protection experience. A good understanding of retail financial services regulation, company law, corporate governance and company secretary accountabilities would be beneficial.

This would be a great role for individuals who are self-starters looking for a high level of autonomy with great exposure to senior management. You will have up to date knowledge on current and future legal requirements and be able to influence and engage key stakeholders. Strong communication, organisation and project skills are essential to succeed in this role.
