A top International Law Firm is looking to hire a new HR Specialist to look after the fee-earners in the firms Commercial group on a permanent basis.  Responsibilities include working closely with eh Head of People Advisory to assist with the development and delivery for the Commercial group, assisting with the developing and implementing of compliance risks, working with key stakeholders across the group to deliver a high quality HR service, supporting the head of the team with the performance, salary and bonus review process, set up review meetings, attend and contribute these meetings where appropriate, compile salary schedules and external salary benchmarking date, take an active role in ensuring consistency and fairness during review meetings regarding salary and promotion proposals.  Other duties include developing and implementing the management approach for the Commercial team, assist the group leaders to help manage the careers of associates within the group in an open and constructive way, provide support with the promotion process within the group, ensuring any admin paperwork is completed accurately and on time, keeping up to date with employment law, provide advice on firm policies and procedures, take part in any disciplinary investigations and hearings, taking notes and keeping tack of deadlines, support the team to deliver the firms L&D strategy, implement and deliver high quality approach to talent management, assist with annual headcount planning process, work with the Head of Resourcing on any recruitment related activity, manage the people process for the group including joiners, leavers, maternities and secondments, arrange and conduct meetings with employees on any HR related matters.  Candidates must be educated at degree level or equivalent and preferably have or working towards their CIPD qualification.  Previous HR experience within a Professional Services environment is a must, preferably within a Law Firm.  Candidates must have at least a years experience working at officer level and must demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
