Health Advisory & Litigation Solicitor - Nottingham

A fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor to join a highly respected national law firm.

The role will involve conducting health-related inquests primarily for the NHS, with opportunities to work for private sector health and social care clients and local authorities.

The successful candidate will work in a team that provides a range of high quality legal services on complex matters. The responsibilities will involve managing a caseload of varied cases of advice on health and social care advisory issues, including for example mental health, mental capacity and deprivation of liberty, medical treatment decisions and welfare planning disputes, safeguarding, access and funding disputes and continuing healthcare / Individual Funding Requests, information governance / DPA / FOI, judicial review and Human Rights Act claims.

The role requires a candidate with strong advocacy skills, ideally have either Claimant or Defendant clinical negligence experience.

It would also be beneficial to have experience in health and social care advisory matters.
