Head of Claims

Chadwick Nott have been instructed to recruit a Head of Claims for an award winning Huddersfield based Personal Injury organisation, The salary on offer is negotiable dependent upon experience but is likely to be c£30K plus a good bonus.

The role is a management position and the successful individual will have overall responsibility for the Claims Team as a whole. Responsibilities are likely to include the following -
* Devising plans and forecasts for the department including staff levels and budgets
* Devising and implementing KPI's appropriate for each team and monitoring team's performance accordingly
* Performance reviews and identifying training requirements within the teams
*Recruitment and on-boarding

The ideal candidate will be working or have worked previously in the personal injury market and will have an in-depth understanding of the claims process. You should be able to assess claims on liability, causation and quantum In addition you should have strong management experience, ideally within another volume environment e claims management or insurance market. On top of this you should be IT Literate.
