In-House Lawyer, Global Technology Business
Our client is a global technology group with an unrivalled reputation for innovation and an excellent name for employee care.
A new and exciting position has arisen for a first-rate lawyer with the ability to work at the heart of commercial decision-making. Working within the EMEA legal team, with a particular focus on southern Europe you will support their sales and marketing teams who work with distributors, manufacturers and resellers.
The role will entail offering commercial legal advice in regard to marketing material; negotiating and drafting agreements (hardware, software, services); support regarding competition and public procurement matters as well as supporting a range of projects.
The ideal candidate will be an UK or EU qualified lawyer fluent in English (whilst additional languages would be a distinct advantage). You will possess a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience and a strong understanding of contract and commercial preferably from (or working with clients in) international or high-tech sectors. Some knowledge of competition matters including anti-trust would be a distinct advantage. You need to be capable of managing multiple projects with a wide variety of people across multiple countries.
Our client will consider flexible working arrangements (including some home working). Some travel across EMEA and to the US is required.
