Legal Counsel

A nationally recognised brand is looking for a Legal Counsel to directly support all elements of the business. You will be exposed to a wide variety of legal practice areas and this is a perfect example of a good in-house opportunity. Their head office is in High Wycombe.

The type of Legal Counsel that will succeed in this role will be enthusiastic, hungry and ambitious. You will need to have a mature attitude to support the GC and deal with senior internal stakeholders in an appropriate manner

The role is mainly a non-contentious commercial position but does have other legal elements (supplier agreements, logistics, transport, recruitment, CAPEX, Marketing, IT, variation letters to contracts, NDAs, trade mark licence agreements, legal research, GDPR, IP, sale promotions, competitions, Company Secretarial matters, training to the business).

Personal Profile

This Legal Counsel role provides a fantastic opportunity to become a key stakeholder and contributor to the business. However, you must be resilient and happy taking the initiative. You should be comfortable picking up matters, taking them as far as you can but knowing when to ask for assistance and input. This is a 'hands on role', which offers a fantastic opportunity to be immersed in a fast moving, exciting business and working with one of the most iconic brands in the UK.
