Head of Legal

A listed biotechnology company is currently seeking a Head of Legal to lead their lean legal team and provide strategic oversight to the business alongside the executive team. Reporting into the CFO and based in their offices in Cambridgeshire, this role will involve dealing with complex legal work as well as guiding the senior team on legal risks and business opportunities.

The role will suit senior candidates with listed experience; a background in pharmaceuticals, or life sciences more generally, will be strongly advantageous. Although the role is primarily targetted at UK qualified lawyers, those with overseas qualification and strong experience within the UK are encourages to apply with US qualified lawyers also highly desireable.

The successful candidate will need to be a credible influencer ideally with experience in licensing and the ability to take on this broad role and make it their own. In return, the company offers a strong remuneration package and a collegiate work environment.
