Modern practice seeks Commercial Property Lawyer with additional residential experience in Lancashire.

The Role
We are now actively seeking a dynamic Commercial Property Lawyer for a specialist team in Blackburn. Reporting to the Head of Department, the successful Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of predominantly commercial transactions from instruction to conclusion. Duties will include: taking initial instructions in sales and purchase matters; liaising with clients, commercial agents, lenders and solicitors; conducting searches and raising enquires; completion statements; registrations; landlord and tenant matters and; assisting other colleagues with fee earning work as required. Residential experience will be required to undertake some sale and purchase transactions as required.
In addition, the successful Lawyer will undertake some supervisory work for support staff and utilise their skills and expertise in business development and marketing activities to build and maintain client relationships and participate in initiatives for the department and practice as a whole. The Candidate
You shall be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE;
Technically proficient with experience in sales and acquisitions and landlord and tenant matters;
Candidates will be highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy;
IT Literate with experience using diary systems;
Be able to explain matters in clear, accessible language and develop strong client relationships;
Have a flair for business development and marketing.
