The Role
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a talented Paralegal to provide hands-on assistance to a clinical negligence Partner in Barnstaple. Ideally with previous experience in clinical negligence, the successful Paralegal will manage a varied and challenging workload, gaining exposure to areas including: mis-diagnosis; cosmetic surgery claims; birth injury; orthopaedics; GP claims and; delayed diagnosis. Clinical negligence experience is therefore, ideal, however candidates who possess solid claimant PI experience and can demonstrate a passion for this field will also be considered. In return, the successful Paralegal can expect a good work/life balance, continued professional development and the opportunity to work alongside leading experts in this field.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from Paralegals, ideally with some clinical negligence experience; however candidates with solid Claimant PI experience will also be considered;
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach;
Highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines when under pressure;
Have you own workload and be able to work with minimal supervision;
Be personable, pro-active and detail orientated;
Possess a desire for professional development.
