A commercial/IP lawyer is required to complete a growing team within one of the largest media businesses in the world with a global HQ in London.

My Client is a world renowned media giant with huge influence across the industry. Encompassing a full complement of media brands, the continue to grow and lead the market. Currently recruiting in the commercial IP team, the Legal Counsel - Global Media Giant will be an intrinsic part of their creative output from their London base.
Description
The Legal Counsel - Global Media Giant, will support the main commercial media brands within the group. Part of a fast paced team with excellent opportunities to learn, the Legal Counsel - Media Giant will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts including ts&cs, sponsorship agreements, digital licenses etc.
You will support the business from an IP perspective and provide advice to the marketing functions with regards to promotions, competitions and ofers.
An exciting role for anyone looking to join one of the biggest players in media either from a commercial / TMT practice or from a technology/media business.
Profile
The successful candidate will be c2-4 year PQE* UK Qualified lawyer from a Top Firm having qualified into a TMT / IP / Commercial team or having trained at a reputable technology/media in-house role.
Having gained experience in commercial law, you will be confident in your ability to:
- draft/negotiate/review commercial contracts
- understand and advise on Intellectual Property
- advise on marketing matters (with the ability to either advise or develop skills in Advertising Standards)
- some knowledge of data protection would be ideal but not essential
- digital license exposure would be an advantage.

Job Offer
The successful Legal Counsel - Global Media Giant will be competitively remunerated with a basic London salary from £65-75k (dependent on experience).
