Venn Group is exclusively handling locum recruitment on behalf of a multi-office legal practice with a large national presence in Bristol. The firm require a Locum Corporate Commercial Lawyer to join their team on an ongoing basis, to offer support while the firm recruits permanently.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of high-value corporate transactions, up to £100m in value, and general commercial work to include advising on contract law matters.

The caseload will involve: 

• Handling a broad range of mergers and acquisitions
• Managing the sales and purchases of businesses
• Handling joint venture agreements
• Advising on partnership, distribution, hire purchase and service agreements
• Offering advice on corporate restructurings, capital markets and private equity
• Dealing with contract law, compliance and legal due diligence matters

To be considered for this attractive locum opportunity, you must have a minimum of 4 years PQE in corporate commercial law and the ability to independently manage a caseload of high value corporate transactions.

The position is due to commence in February and it is offering a highly competitive rate.
