Due to an increased work load, we are now looking to recruit a Locum Legal Assistant to work in the heart of the city centre on an on-going basis. Your new role

As a Child and Adult Social Care Legal Assistant, you will be based out of the City Centre and be responsible for providing support to the Child and Adult Social Care Legal Department in preparing documentation and reviewing documents and caseloads. You will be creating and maintaining trial bundles including indexing and case studies, these will be a mix of both paper and electronic. You will also be assisting the Solicitors with court preparation, however you may not be required to attend court yourself.


What you'll need to succeed

It is essential you are qualified to LPC / CILEX level, or at least working towards the qualifications. It is essential that you have a good understanding of legal processes and procedures and be able to convey information clearly and concisely in writing and also face to face. You will be able to work as a member of a team, but also under your own initiative and be able to manage your own workload.
