Partnership opportunity for the right candidate

The Firm
Long established in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, and combining a proactive, forward-thinking approach with traditional values of excellent service, this very successful firm advises across a range of legal disciplines. Enjoying substantial positive feedback from satisfied clients, and priding itself on the calibre of lawyers within the firm, it is now looking to recruit a solicitor to join the litigation team and take on a busy caseload of private client (contentious probate) work as well as more general litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm which offers excellent career prospects with a move into a partnership role in the near future.

The Role
You will have broad experience across a range of litigation matters, from small-claims to multi-track matters including contractual disputes. There will be particular emphasis on private client (contentious probate) work and associated property work, such as leasehold enfranchisement. The litigation team also advised on contentious and non-contentious employment matters and assists other departments with any contentious work they may encounter.

The Candidate
You will have a minimum of 6 years’ PQE, dealing with a broad range of general civil litigation, with a robust approach to advocacy, first-class technical ability and excellent client care skills.  In addition, the firm is committed to growth, and is looking for a candidate who will take on some responsibility for marketing and for promoting the work of the litigation team in particular and the firm as a whole.
