Accounts Payable Supervisor

This brand new vacancy represents a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor in London to work for a top tier US and international law firm.
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a high profile US law firm based in the City of London. This is a full time, permanent position and paying a competitive salary of £40-50,000, plus paid overtime and full firm benefits.
The main responsibilities of the role include: accounts payable duties, expenses management, vendor set up, supervision and development of team and other ad hoc assignments. This is in addition to:

• Day to day management of London offices’ vendor payments ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures and with local Law Society regulations
• Managing Accounts Payable postings from other international offices local systems and the OMS to the Firm’s accounting system
• Management of the vendor set up process
• Managing accounts staff, ensuring fully utilized and adequately trained, developing and mentoring staff and supporting department.
• Acting as back up for the other coordinators during periods of absence and as needed.
• Being the lead contact on Chrome River related projects

To be successful for this position, candidates must have solid accounts payable experience at supervisory level within a City or US law firm as well as experience of using Chrome River and Rippe Finance Systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong numeracy skills, be highly IT proficient and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
