Head of Conveyancing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a brand new Head of Department to join one of the North West's leading Law Firms.  Lexcel Accredited, Investors In People and Conveyancing Quality approved - they are looking to appoint a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive to join its highly accredited team as Head of Conveyancing at its Blackburn Office.

The Conveyancing department has undergone significant growth and is highly successful and well regarded. As such, this position is ideal for someone looking to continue to drive the department forward with a positive attitude and forward thinking ideas. 

You will be joining a talented and committed team of 14, offering a highly effective and personalised legal service to all clients.

You will be responsible for your own caseload and the development of junior members of the team by delivering regulatory supervision and providing technical assurance. 

Caseload responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Residential Property
• Commercial Property
• New builds
• Freehold
• Leasehold
• Sales & Purchases 
• Sharia Compliant transactions from instruction through to completion.  (Although it would be desirable, experience of Sharia Compliant transactions is not essential).
