Commercial Paralegal - In House

This role is based in the West Midlands and the successful paralegal will gain exposure to a varied and rewarding workload.

You will work a variety of areas but primarily focusing upon Commercial Law with an emphasis on negotiating and agreeing commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and partners.

The role will involve dealing with subsidiary MDs and Directors an working closely with the Legal Counsel.

The Commercial Paralegal will:

• Work closely with legal counsel on a range of matters including: drafting and working on a range of agreements: Research & Collaboration agreements, Funding agreements, Memorandum of understanding and Governance issues.

• Reviewing and drafting a wide variety of commercial contracts, including: Agency agreements, distribution agreements, contracts for the supply and purchase of a wide range of goods and services, including framework agreements, outsourcing agreements and standard terms and conditions of business and loan and financing agreements.
• You will be a good communicator with a strong practical approach to your workload.

The Successful Commercial Paralegal will:

• Have completed the LPC.

• Ideally have 6 months contracts/corporate experience but this does not preclude someone with more qualified experience from applying for the role.

• Prior in-house experience would be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
