Healthcare Advisory & Litigation Solicitor.

This firm is very busy within its healthcare and advisory team in Exeter. They are searching for an additional solicitor to join the healthcare, advisory and litigation team. 

In this role, you will conduct health related inquests, primarily for the NHS, but also for independent social care clients and local authorities. There may from time to time be the need to advise on related clinical negligence litigation matters. 

You should also manage a varied caseload of health & social care advisory issues, in the court of protection. This work will include mental health/capacity, welfare planning disputes, safeguarding, access & funding disputes, and continuing healthcare.

This role will typically include conducting your own advocacy in the court of protection. 

To fulfil this role, you will be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years’ relevant experience. Ideally, you should have strong advocacy skills, combined with a healthcare background, inquest experience, and a strong understanding of the NHS.

Excellent salary up to £60,000, plus excellent benefits associated working for a top class UK law firm.
