Job Title: Legal Cashier
Salary: £40,000
Location: Oxted, Surrey
Experienced legal cashier required by a growing firm based in Surrey. You will be solely responsible for a broad legal cashiering remit including:
- VAT returns
- Maintaining department ledgers
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing invoices
- Banking and related postings
- Reviewing/producing monthly management reports
- Query resolutions
- Liaising with external accountants
- Opening and closing client files
- Data entry and filing
- Engaging with colleagues where possible on compliance issues
It is essential that you at least two years’ experience as a legal cashier, a detailed knowledge of SARs, a good working knowledge and understanding of UK and EU VAT rules and be highly competent with Excel. There will be an opportunity for flexible working arrangements.
