LBR has a great opportunity to work with an outstanding European law firm with market leading practices in many of the world's most dynamic sectors. My Client has a new position for a Learning & Development Advisor to join their Learning & Development team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of the annual training schedules
  • Oversee all requests for external training to ensure internal processes are followed
  • Lead on arranging and organising departmental away days and on occasion help facilitate away day sessions.
  • Oversee the maintenance and updating of intranet content
  • Monitor the L&D budget and prepare monthly reports
  • Oversee the in box and help the L&D Apprentice respond/field responses
  • Collate and analyse data (including training needs analysis data) and provide regular training reports as required
  • General co-ordination and support for the L&D team, and for the wider HR team where required
  • Assist with meeting and briefing new joiners on the first day of induction (this will be shared out on a rota basis).
  • Assist with designing training strategies and (on occasion) delivering learning outcomes throughout the business and ensuring as a team we deliver targeted and blended learning solutions.
  • Help identify capability gaps and implement learning interventions and programmes to bridge these gaps.
  • Assist with the mentoring and development of the POD Administrator.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role in a professional services environment is desirable but not essential
  • Experienced L&D professional working at Advisory level or ready to progress to that level.
  • Some experience of design and delivery with some training within professional services, ideally in Legal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A confident and professional manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • A flexible approach to work
