About

We are recruiting for a market leading & international business – they encourage a creative, social and collaborative environment. 

 

They are looking for a Lead Lawyer with experience in company commercial law and the automotive industry. You will work in a highly regarded legal team and forge relationships with employees across various divisions. This post gives responsibility to manage a junior lawyer who you will supervise - together you both shall deliver on exciting and challenging projects, enabling continued success for the business across the globe.

Like many In-House roles, you can expect to turn your hand to areas outside of your specialism. This would therefore, suit a Lawyer with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (UK),5 – 8 PQE*
  • Automotive industry experience (essential)
  • Background in company commercial or/and advising on commercial issues (essential)
  • Proficient in drafting, reviewing and negotiating on commercial contracts i.e. IT, suppliers, customers and procurement (essential)
  • People management experience i.e. supervising trainees (desirable)
  • In-House OR Private practice experience will be considered – must have a strong worth ethic and quality interpersonal skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
