European Investment Bank based in the City are seeking a structured products lawyer on an ongoing contract. The successful candidate will be undertaking the following duties:
(1) Day to day transaction management of structured products issuances, principally in the form of a Warrant wrapper (but may also include issuances of Notes and Preference Shares) and referencing underlyings across the asset class spectrum.
(2) Drafting and review of issuance documentation, such as Final Terms, which may be based on agreed templates and with or without the assistance of external counsel.
(3) Ongoing maintenance and annual update of the bank's issuance programmes.
(4) Advising the business line on structured product and issuance-related matters.
(5) Managing a smooth issuance process to ensure all legal issues are dealt with and relevant internal stakeholders are kept appraised of progress.
