This is a unique opportunity for a German Qualified lawyer from the Heavy Industry / Energy Sectors with proven experience in Lobbying / Working with German and European Government to join an international organisation based in the Thames Valley.

Description
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- To track, listen to or read, and understand implications of draft and new laws and regulations and political debates at federal and state level.
- To provide English language summary reports of the above to colleagues and wider stakeholder audience.
- To draft and present legal and political reports for the Board and external stakeholders.
- To create targeted external communications with German federal and state officials.
- To provide advice and support to the Group in ensuring that its activities are conducted lawfully and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Profile
Suitable candidates will have the following skills and/or experience:
- German Qualified lawyer with at least 7 years post qualified experience in either corporate or commercial law is essential.
- Proven experience and track record in lobbying + working with German Government at both Federal & State level is essential.
- Proven experience of operating in an international in-house organisation is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and German Language is essential.
- Willingness / Ability to be based in the UK is necessary.
