Client Details
Our client is a highly rated commercial law firm with offices across the globe. They are extremely forward thinking and are driven by technology. They now require a Risk and Conflicts Manager to lead a new team based in Sheffield.
Description
As a Risk and Conflicts Manager you will be responsible for a new team of 5 Conflict Analysts. You will need to lead from the front and provide strategy and guidance to junior staff members.
You will personally act as an escalation point for conflict issues taking into account legal and regulatory requirements, firm policy, as well as reputational and commercial conflict implications.
The role is comprised of a combination of concise legal and business research and conflicts of interest analysis. It will involve identifying, reviewing / analysing conflicts reports, liaising with fee earners in order to ascertain if there is or could be a legal or commercial conflict.
Profile
The successful Risk and Conflicts Manager will have previous experience in a similar role.
Line management experience is not essential and this could suit someone wishing to step up into their first management role.
