An interesting opportunity has come up with a highly regarded company in tech and consumer space. Operating worldwide and continually expanding, the company is looking for a IP/IT lawyer to support all business units within its European and APAC regions with a wide range of legal advice.
The primary responsibilities include:
* Working as a partner with various internal stakeholders to provide varied contractual, and ad hoc, legal advice.
* Negotiate, advise on, and draft a range of legal agreements with an IT and IP focus.
* Execute and champion business initiatives.
* Manage external lawyers appropriately to obtain cost effective, high quality legal advice.
Given the level of involvement in business and client management, you must be commercially-minded with the ability to work cross-culturally. As a highly visible role, it demands confidence, character, and excellent communication skills. You will ideally have 2-5 years PQE, a strong private practice background, excellent drafting skills, demonstrated leadership, and international experience. You will have experience in both IT and IP. In house experience is not essential.
This position will offer a real breadth of work, very hands on experience and the chance to work closely with key senior stakeholders across the business.
