My client is a leading, full-service law firm that is now recruiting for an experienced solicitor with Child Panel membership to join the family team based in Reading. Salary dependent on experience.

You will be taking on a very busy caseload of family law matters, primarily legally-aided children cases and should be experienced in a range of local authority care proceedings. The role, which will involve handling highly complex child law cases, is suited to a candidate with at least 2 years' experience handling complex child care matters and who has a keen sense of business acumen, to contribute to the already-high volume of incoming work. Legal Aid experience is preferred; however this is not a prerequisite.

The chosen Child Panel Solicitor will be able to maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in children law and the representation of children and be passionate about this area of law.

Candidate requirements:
Have at least 2 years' PQE;
Be an experienced Child Panel solicitor;
Have great client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in straightforward, plain English.
