Compliance Officer

LAW Absolute is currently working with a reputable Private Practice who are seeking a Compliance Officer.

The opportunity will involve ensuring all three offices are in line with the SRA, making sure no breaches are made and ensuring systems and controls are in place to avoid breaches. They key duties of the role will include:

• To ensure all transactions passed through the accounts team comply with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules
• Implement process to ensure transactions are posted on the accounts system in a timely manner
• Answering any questions or queries from all teams in relation to financial transactions and to correct any problems that are encountered

The successful candidate will be focused and motivated with an excellent knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rule. Having good attention to detail and good knowledge of IT systems will be highly beneficial; however it is essential that you have previous supervisory experience.
