French/Portuguese/Spanish speaking Junior Contract Specialist (temp ongoing or 6 months FTC)

Salary : £10-£12 per hour plus holidays.

Description:

This position is primarily responsible for abstracting contract terms, from complex commercial contracts, for the purposes of a contract management system, accurately recording those terms in the contract management system. The contracts include Non-Disclosure Agreements, Hold Harmless/release letters, master services agreement, public sector framework agreements, master tax framework agreements, standard terms of engagement, licences, reseller agreements, contractor agreements, and local implementation agreements. The candidate will also be required to recognise when the contract terms reflect Integreon’s Client’s position, or are a deviation and accurately recording the deviation and the reasons for it on the contract management system, as well as providing a variety of reports to the Client in connection with the contract information abstracted. There is the potential for the role to, in the future, also involve reviewing, marking-up or drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial agreements, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies. The employee is responsible for the principal duties listed below.

Principal Duties:

  • Accurate abstraction of contract terms onto a dedicated contract management system
  • Accurately reporting and collecting legal data as needed
  • Assisting Integreon’s Client with the use of the contract management platform as needed

Previous experience:

  • At least 12 months contract review and drafting in relation to a variety of complex commercial contracts including in recognising contractual legal risks
  • Exposure to summarizing complex contractual documentation with the ability to reconcile and consolidate key information in a systematic manner

Skills and Attributes:

  • Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable about contract terms, structure, and best practices, or transactions from a legal standpoint
  • Must be able to effectively use computers (full MS Office pack)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Qualifications:

  • Law degree and LPC preferred, but another degree (or LLM) and GDL also considered
  • Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (ACILEx), or Institute of Paralegals, or National Associations of Licensed Paralegals, or Law Society, or eligible to become a member of the foregoing listed organisations.
