Commercial Litigation Paralegal, City Law Firm, London, 3 month + FTC, Up to £29,000

This established City Law Firm has been advising its clients for almost a century. With over 500 lawyers working in offices in both London and New York, the firm provides a first rate service and bespoke solutions for its clients on a variety of matters. The firm has one of the largest and most comprehensive Dispute Resolution teams in London, and over half of the firm's lawyers are litigators. The team covers cases in most areas of Dispute Resolution, including Business Crime, Competition and Anti-Trust, Tax, Fraud Defence, International Arbitration and IP.

Your new role
You will provide generalist support across the entire Commercial Litigation team. You will liaise with clients, and accurately maintain and update correspondence and other filing. You will type and amend documents including attendance notes, letters, faxes and presentations. You will transcribe audio dictation and copy type letters, memos and reports. You will maintain client contact details on the firm's CRM database. You will also carry out a range of administrative duties including photocopying, faxing and filing, preparing monthly bills, and checking for monies on accounts to see if bills have been paid. You will provide ad hoc support to fee earners and other paralegals /secretaries within the department.

What you'll need to succeed
You have strong academics and have secured at least a 2 in your LLB / GDL. The LPC /BPTC is preferred although not essential. You have strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, effectively managing your own workload. You can communicate effectively at all levels, and can work independently and as part of a team. Previous commercial litigation experience is essential.
