SSQ are currently representing a leading multinational insurer who are seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join their London legal team.

This hire will provide commercial and corporate support to specific lines within the business, with responsibilities including:

  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts including distribution, services and IT agreements
  • Providing insurance specific regulatory and compliance advice to the business lines
  • Managing legal risk within the business

The level of responsibility offered would be well suited to a lawyer with a minimum of 5PQE, ideally gained within a leading commercial law firm or financial services organisation. Insurance specific experience is essential for this hire as you will be required to hit the ground running.

The contract is initially offered for six months and is based in the firms City offices.
