An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NQ Commercial Property Solicitor to join a Legal 500 rated East Midlands firm in their Derby office. This role is rewarded with a competitive NQ salary and benefits.
About the role
The firm's Commercial Property team provide a complete range of legal and advisory services to commercial clients across a full spectrum of Commercial Property matters.
A real mixed bag of work will be provided in this growth role from high value shemes to smaller bespoke ventures.
Workflows of the NQ Commercial Property Solicitor will include the following:
- Drafting and advising on Heads of Terms
- Drafting and negotiating Development Agreements and associated construction documentation
- Planning and site disposals/acquisitions
- Funding Arrangements
- Due diligence for freehold/leasehold transfers
- Drafting and negotiating leases and lease renewals
- Drafting Licenses to Assign and Licences to Occupy
- Post completion matters
About the person
Given the nature of the work, you will have gained a minimum of 6 months Commercial Property experience during your training contract and will be due to qualify as a UK Solicitor in the coming months. Candidates with more experience will also be considered.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner. Strong business development skills with experience in marketing in order to continue the development of this increasingly busy and expanding team is an advantage.
