A leading Legal 500 firm with a strong range of high value clients are open to applications for a senior corporate commercial solicitor or Partner from a similarly high end local firm.

The firm has a large and successful corporate commercial solicitor department with a strong presence throughout the Northern Home Counties market, including Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. 

The opportunity allows access to high value commercial clients including large AIM listed businesses and FTSE 350 clientele, as well as Large SME firms sourced from recruitment, haulage, retail and life sciences industries clients and high value owner managed and family owned businesses within the regional markets. 

The role will require a candidate with a minimum of 6 years' PQE to assist with caseloads, including; mergers and acquisitions, corporate advice and shareholder issues, corporate reorganisations and restructuring. Aside from this a candidate with wider commercial legal exposure including contracts, terms of use for on line platforms, IP and Trademark work as well as general company formations and structuring would be advantageous. 

The candidate will be expected to further enhance existing long-term relationships with the firm's varied client base, and have a strong interest in progressing their career as a Corporate Commercial Solicitor. You will be a known entity within Northamptonshire and the neighbouring counties and you will have a strong history of business development and networking. 

You will inherit a strong company commercial and corporate caseload with high value work from the offset, however the ability to be a leading figure in Business Development is also key. You will ideally have a collection of corporate commercial clients to add to the existing client base also, (whilst not essential this will ensure the most competitive package possible).
