My client is an award winning law with offices through the North East and Scotland; they are specialist lawyers and act on behalf of thousands of Private and Commercial Clients. We are assisting on the appointment of an experienced Paralegal / Case Handler

The role;

• Management of remortgage cases from instruction and managing through to completion and registration on behalf of the firms lender clients
• Taking responsibility of own case load and completing from start to finish. To include, opening the case on case management system, preparing documents for issue, drafting cash statements, reviewing returned documents from customers, ordering redemption statements and organizing completion of case
• Liaising with customers and where appropriate, mortgage introducers to provide assistance and updates on case
• Reviewing all incoming mail relating to transaction - to include all correspondence received from any pointed third party solicitors
• Ensuring customers have an efficient, problem free journey through their remortgage transaction

The candidate;

You will be an experienced paralegal managing your own caseload ideally within a volume environment; you will have excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. You will be able to work to strict deadlines and targets.
