The team have had great success within the market since the Tax Litigation team was established several years back, following the on boarding of a leading Tax Partner from one of the Big 4 Accountancy firms. Having grown significantly and created a leading reputation in the market, the team have been recognised for their work on a number of high-profile cases.
Until recently, the teams focus has been direct tax disputes but are now broadening their focus with the joining of an additional Partner, who's practice focuses on indirect disputes. This opportunity will be working across both areas of the overall practice and not only be the successful individual be heavily relied upon within the litigation process, but also a valuable participator in strategy conversations.
The firm is a leader in what they do and are Top Tier rated in a number of key litigation areas. They do complex mullti-jurisdictional work and pride themselves in having small specialist teams. Do due their structure and size, far greater responsibility is given than you would normally expect for PQE level. There is a need within the team for someone who can not just deliver the litigation process, but someone Partners can brainstorm and talk on a technical level with regarding idea.
The ideal candidate;
- Will ideally be between 2-5 years PQE
- Will be highly intelligent with strong technical Tax knowledge
- Will ideally have both direct and indirect tax disputes experience, however applications with experience in one area will still be accepted
- Will be a commercial individual who wants to have an impact on the direction of team.
