An award winning International Law Firm is looking to hire a new PR & Communications Manager for their Brand, Marketing & Sales team to work either 4 or 5 days a week.  Responsibilities will include developing and delivering strategic PR plans for and teams across the firm, deploy PR and broader communications tactics in pursuit of positioning as an expert in it chosen fields, integrate PR & communications with other marketing tactics to achieve maximum impact in the market, build and foster profitable relations – directly and through lawyers with key journalists and media outlets across our target markets, develop and deliver strategic internal and external communications plans, making use of a range of media, provide copywriting and editorial resource and guidance in support of firm and practice area business goals.  Other duties include working with Senior Management, Partners and colleagues to develop and execute on strategic PR activity in support of defined business goals, proactively and reactively manage negative PR, mitigating its business impact, be the contact point and fulcrum for incoming queries from all media, take primary responsibility for sourcing, drafting and editing content for the firm’s live internal news channel, take responsibility for oversight of the legal directories process and manage the relationship with our external consultant, act as primary contact for copyediting to ensure content and thought leadership adheres to house style, liaising with production team where relevant, research, write and edit award submissions. Candidates must be educated at degree level, preferably CIM/CIPR qualified, ideally someone with a Legal background with previous experience and relationships with journalists and editors.  Candidates must be at Manager level and have strong writing skills in order to flex their style to writing both internal and external comms.
