We are now looking to recruit Trading Standards Disclosure Officers to work in the Trading Standards team on a temporary, ongoing basis. Your new role
As a Trading Standards Disclosure Officer, you will be working out of the Garretts Green office that covers the Central England Regional team. You will be be responsible for assessing all information being processed during ongoing investigations. You will need to go through case files and unused materials to asses if the information can be disclosed as part of legal enforcement investigations.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you come from an investigatory background and would have an understanding of the Criminal Procedures and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA). A background in law enforcement and investigation would be highly beneficial, as would a background within Trading Standards.
