Legal Manager, Oil Sector

Excellent opportunity to oversee legal advice for a global energy group across the UK, Europe and Africa. Working as a key member of a global legal team you will take responsibility for a department of seven whilst working closely with business colleagues and customers across this region.

The role will entail drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (supply, service, confidentiality, agency and distribution), advice on consultations/international trade/maritime, developing compliance programs, managing litigation, supporting corporate transactions and internal training.

The ideal candidate will the UK qualified with at least 8 years’ relevant experience. You will have some prior experience working in-house and within the oil sector. The ability to analyse scientific and technical journals is important as are strong communication, presentation and management skills.
