In-House Compliance Specialist – Fraud Investigations - Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates UAE

Responsibilities

  • The role is tasked with investigating incidents of suspected fraud and serious wrongdoing in order to protect the assets and reputation of the company.
  • The role will handle a wide range of corporate investigation case work including complex, sensitive fraud investigations from across the region and internationally.
  • Investigate in order to identify the root cause of product/process vulnerabilities, identification of employee behaviour that breaches policy, detection of fraud perpetrators and the recovery of assets.
  • Developing and adding value to investigative referrals through data research, analysis, interviewing, liaison with law enforcement agencies and compilation of information from a variety of sources both internal and external to the business.
  • Documenting the investigation in case management system and, on case completion, drafting comprehensive investigation reports

Requirements

  • The role will suit a compliance specialist with 3-5 years of experience
  • UK / US / Canada / Australia / NZ graduates / energy experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Fraud Investigations experience is required
  • Legal background would be beneficial
